God Loved Us Before We Ever Turned to Him
This is where the message of the Gospel becomes truly beautiful.
God didn't wait for us to become perfect before He loved us. He didn't wait for us to clean up our lives, overcome every struggle, or prove that we deserved His love.
While we were still sinners, God demonstrated His love by sending Jesus Christ to die for us.
Jesus willingly took our place. He bore the punishment for our sins through His death on the cross, making a way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God.
Think about what that means: The God who created you loves you so deeply that He made the ultimate sacrifice so you could have a relationship with Him and receive eternal life.
Salvation isn't about what we can do for God. It's about what Jesus has already done for us.
