CALL UPON THE LORD: God's Promise to Everyone Who Believes.
Romans 10:13 (KJV)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
God's Invitation Is for Everyone
This verse contains one of the greatest promises in all of Scripture.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Notice the word whosoever. God's invitation isn't limited to a particular background, age, nationality, or past. It is extended to everyone.
You don't have to earn God's love. You don't have to become perfect before coming to Him. You can come to Him just as you are, placing your faith in Jesus Christ.
To call upon the Lord means to turn to Him in faith, trusting Him as your Savior and Lord.
The Roman Road has shown us five important truths:
We have all sinned.
Sin has a consequence.
God demonstrated His love through Jesus Christ.
We receive salvation through faith in Jesus.
Everyone who calls upon the Lord will be saved.
Now you understand the message. But perhaps you're wondering what this means for you personally.
If you're ready to put your faith in Jesus Christ, the next page is for you.
